100TH PRIMASTAR HELPS GLEN DIMPLEX COOKING
TO DELIVER EXCELLENT SERVICE
Glen Dimplex Cooking, one of the leading manufacturers of cooking appliances in the UK, has taken delivery of its 100th Nissan Primastar van.
The fleet of 1.9 dCi SE Primastars is used by Glen Dimplex Cooking’s team of specialist engineers, who travel across the UK to service and maintain its range of Stoves, Belling and New World appliances. The vehicles are all equipped with special racking systems to store the necessary parts and tools, allowing Glen Dimplex to deliver excellent customer service.
Glen Dimplex Cooking Central Service Manager, Andrew Winstone, said: “We originally opted for the Nissan Primastar because of its generous specification and low running costs. We added air conditioning to the specification to ensure that our engineers could travel in comfort whatever the weather, and arrive with the customer feeling refreshed and ready to get down to work.
“The Primastars have proved to be very reliable, which is an important consideration for any customer service vehicles. We know that we have the back up of Nissan’s technical and service support should we ever need it, and the large demonstration fleet made it straightforward to find the model that was right for us right from the word go.”
