LONDON – Nissan dealerships are handing out a free R34 Skyline GT‑R to anyone who asks. There's a catch, though, obviously: it's made of LEGO®, it's about 15cm long, and you'll need a free hour or two and steady hands to get behind the wheel of it.
To claim their Skyline, customers just need to book a qualifying 20-point Winter Health Check will drive away with their very own LEGO® R34 Skyline GT‑R (LEGO® set #76917), one of the most celebrated performance cars ever to wear a Nissan badge. While the real thing may be out of reach for most driveways, this one can sit proudly on a shelf, desk or display cabinet long after the check is complete.
The offer comes as part of Nissan's new autumn offers campaign to help customers prepare for colder temperatures and more challenging driving conditions. The £39.99 Winter Health Check covers the less glamorous but essential components such as tyres, brakes, battery condition, lights, and more, keeping vehicles ready for the chilly season a quarter mile at a time.
Few Nissan models have achieved the status of the Skyline GT‑R. The R34 needs no introduction to anyone who's spent time around Japanese performance cars, motorsport, or watched the iconic Fast & Furious movies that made it a household name worldwide. Now, customers can build their own version brick-by-brick.
Nico Belaud, Aftersales Director, Nissan Motor GB, said: "Winter can place extra demands on a vehicle, which is why our Winter Health Check focuses on some of the most important components for safe and reliable driving, including tyres, brakes, battery condition and other key safety items – so customers can head into the colder months with confidence.
"The LEGO® Nissan Skyline GT‑R adds a bit of fun to the experience. It's a great way to reward customers for taking proactive care of their vehicle while celebrating one of the most iconic cars in Nissan's history."
Whether customers are motivated by winter peace-of-mind, a love of Nissan performance heritage or simply the chance to add a LEGO® Skyline GT‑R to their collection, winning’s winning with the Nissan Winter Health Check (by an inch or a mile) 😉
