Jon Pollock joined Nissan Motor (GB) Limited in September 1991 as Dealer Development Manager for the southern region with responsibility for establishing a new dealer network in the south of England. He joined the fleet department in 1995 as Special Operations Manager with overall responsibility for used car disposal, Nissan’s fleet demonstration programme and direct rental.
In 1997, Jon was promoted to Fleet Sales Manager taking responsibility for the fleet sales team, including listed fleet, Motability and daily rental. Following a reorganisation of the fleet department in January 1999, Jon was promoted to Corporate Sales and Remarketing Manager with responsibility for sales to all sectors of the fleet market.
Prior to joining Nissan, Jon graduated from Warwick University in 1986 with a degree in History of Art and joined Ford Motor Company as a graduate trainee. During his time at Ford, Jon held a variety of roles including Parts Zone Manager, Car Zone Sales Manager and Market Representation Manager in Dealer Franchising.
