- Design features include unique 18-inch alloy wheels and rear privacy glass
Nissan is celebrating the success of the new Qashqai by introducing a special edition model - the SV1. The new model is positioned between the existing Acenta and top-of-the-range Tekna grades, and makes some of Nissan's advanced technology even more accessible.
Outside, the new SV1 model features unique 18-inch alloy wheels with a stylish and distinctive black diamond-cut finish. Also included is privacy glass for the rear windows. Customers wanting to add even more features can choose an optional Premium Design Pack that includes a full-length panoramic glass roof and roof rails.
Nissan's passion for bringing new technologies to the broadest possible audience is further reinforced by the SV1's safety, comfort and entertainment features. Taking centre stage is the acclaimed Around View Monitor (AVM) - Nissan's remarkable driving and parking aid that provides driver with a ‘helicopter view' of the area immediately surrounding the car. AVM is fully integrated into the Qashqai's latest NissanConnect entertainment system - a collection of technologies that includes smartphone connectivity and advanced satellite navigation system featuring Google Send to Car route planning.
Other comfort features included as standard on the Qashqai SV1 model include ‘I-Key' with push-button start, front and rear parking sensors and an auto dimming rear view mirror.
Customers choosing the SV1 model also benefit from a comprehensive safety package. Nissan's acclaimed Safety Shield is fitted as standard - bringing peace of mind and segment-first technologies to an even wider audience. These include Forward Emergency braking, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning and High Beam Assist.
The Nissan Qashqai SV1is available with all existing engine and transmission options and will be available across western European markets from September 2014.
