NISSAN’S VAN WEBSITE MAKES THE JUMP

New functions include mix ‘n’ match van selector

Launches crazy American stunt rider into cyperspace

Nissan has dramatically updated its commercial vehicle website, www.nissanvans.co.uk

The website is a useful ‘one-stop’ resource for Nissan commercial vehicle customers.  It has full information on Nissan’s range of vans and introduces the new ‘van selector’.  Van selector is a simple and easy-to-use tool similar to a car builder.  Customers can put in as much or as little information as they want and van selector will match vehicles to their requirements.

Having found the van that suits them best, customers can use the website to find their nearest dealer, or request a brochure and demonstration.  The website also has a news section which keeps customers updated with the latest news and special offers.

The website is also the launch pad for crazy American motocross stunt rider Corey Pasadena’s attempt to take the Nissan challenge – to jump over all 51 vans in the Nissan commercial vehicle range.  Viewers of Channel 4’s ‘Scrappy Races’* will no doubt recognise Corey from the advertising bumpers that Nissan sponsor on the programme.  Corey has never failed to make a jump – so far!

From early March, fans will be able to log on and see if the impressive line-up of Nissan vans proves to be his ultimate challenge.  While waiting for Corey to perform his breath-taking attempt, fans can download wallpaper and screen savers featuring this modern

day Evil Knievel in action.   They can also test their own jumping skill by playing the game – where timing and speed are crucial to achieving a successful jump.

So, whilst Nissan customers use the website to find a van with the new vehicle selector, to discover the “key features” of each model, or use any of the many other features on the site, they can also have a bit of fun with crazy Corey.
