SHB HIRE MEETS CUSTOMERS’ DEMANDS WITH
NISSAN NAVARA PICKUPS AND KUBISTARS
Romsey-based SHB Hire, the UK’s largest 4x4 vehicle hire company, has recently added 10 Nissan Navara pickups to its fleet, as well as expanding its LCV fleet with 10 more Nissan Kubistar vans.
“We have brought 10 Navara double cab pickups onto our fleet having recognised their position as being one of the most capable towing vehicles of their category,” says Paul Street, Director SHB Hire. “This, along with good fuel consumption, makes them an attractive proposition for company vehicle drivers who combine commercial and domestic use.”
He continues: “The expansion of our Kubistar van fleet to 20 vehicles reflects their acceptance to our customer base alongside other manufacturers’ vehicles. These particular models have been particularly well received because of comfort and safety features such as electric windows, CD players and ABS. SHB also recognises the benefit of 18,000 mile service intervals compared to substantially lower thresholds in other manufacturers.”
Kieren McMenamin, National Rental Manager of Nissan, says: “Although our strategy is to strengthen residual values by reducing our volume of short cycle business, we are happy to supply new vehicles to SHB Hire where they have proved to be hard-working and reliable for the customer.”
