COREY LIVE IN BIRMINGHAM

Ace American motorcycle stunt rider Corey Pasadena flew into Birmingham this week from Los Angeles to help unveil the new Nissan Navara pick up at the UK CV Show.

Pasadena – star of Nissan’s latest commercial vehicle adverts and van website – added extra razzamatazz to the show by bursting out of a wooden crate on his motorcycle to greet his admiring fans.  And his posse of dancing girls graphically advertised the Nissan 51 Challenge for the audience.

A large crowd were the first to see the tough new Navara, which is destined for these shores in August.  Due to restricted space in the show, he was unable to try a new attempt at jumping over the 51-strong Nissan CV range, but promises another go later in the year.  Or whenever you like on www.nissanvans.co.uk

The European built Navara shares the same tough chassis as the recently launched Pathfinder SUV and offers a larger, more versatile load-bed as well as a new, common rail 174PS turbo diesel engine.  This power output will be class-leading as will the level of equipment offered on the Navara.

More details on the new pick up will be announced later in 2005 ahead of its launch date in August.
