NISSAN NAVARA PICKUP COMFORTABLY WINS AWARD

The Nissan Navara’s ability to offer a comfortable on-road ride without compromising its off-road capability, has helped it secure the Best Pickup category at the 2005 Professional Van & Light Truck Magazine Awards.

The judges said comfort set the Navara apart from its close rivals helping it win the best in class award for the second year running.

All Navaras have a 2.5 litre, 4 cylinder diesel engine, with 133hp and torque of 304Nm and an impressive 3,000kg towing capacity. And with King Cab and double cab versions available, the Navara is equipped to deal with most things the British weather and terrain can throw at it.  And don’t forget the Navara has anti-lock brakes as standard, something most of its competition charge extra for.

Paul Gozzard, Nissan’s recently appointed LCV Fleet Sales Manager said: ‘Although the Navara is designed for hard work in the toughest conditions, its stylish looks and high level of equipment – including a CD player, electric windows and climate controlled air conditioning – enable it to make the transition from work to play very easily.’
