NISSAN TAKES FIRST ORDER FOR NEW PRIMERA

Five months before the new Nissan Primera goes on sale in the UK, Nissan fleet has already taken its first order for 200 vehicles.  Axus UK, a leading contract hire and leasing company based in Middlesex, has committed to buy 200 New Primeras in September to add to their pool fleet.

Brian Taylor, managing director of Axus UK said: “We have been buying Nissan products for a number of years and we are extremely happy with the range of vehicles and the service we get from Nissan.  The main reason we buy Nissan products are the strong holding costs coupled with exceptional service, maintenance and repair costs.

“We are also very enthusiastic about the new 1.8-litre engine that is being introduced into the new Primera range as it will account for the majority of our purchase.  If the new Nissan Primera is as good as the current model, I am sure that more orders will follow,” he added.

Nissan’s fleet sales director, Simon Carr said: “We are delighted that Axus UK has ordered the new Primera so far ahead of the start of sales.  It is an excellent start for the new Primera and it is testament to the Nissan hallmarks of high quality and low cost of ownership that we have taken a significant order so early.”
